Aske Drasbæk

Aske Drasbæk is a saxophonist, flutist, clarinetist, and composer.

He has twice received a Danish Music Award in the category “New Danish Jazz Artist of the Year,” first in 2011 with his band “Orpheus” and again in 2013 with the Aske Drasbæk Group.

In addition to leading his own bands, Aske is an active musician in a wide range of contexts, e.g. in Sunbörn. Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, Simon Spang Hansen’s “Café Central”, and several others.
