D5400 LB/WL6 Double Bass – Live Mic. for Wireless Systems

The REMIC D5400 LB/WL6 supplied with a TA4F connector allows you to connect the REMIC microphone to SHURE (FP1, GLXD1, QLXD1, PG1, PGX1, PGXD1, SLX1, UC1, ULX1, ULXD1, UR1, UR1M, AD1) transmitter modules with TA4M connector.

Due to the fact that most beltpack wireless transmitters do not provide 48 volt of phantom power nor a balanced input stage, a series of REMIC Audio microphones have been designed to support wireless systems with unbalanced input circuits and a BIAS voltage of 3 to 8 volt.

The D5400 LB/WL6 is based on the same principle as the D5400 LB live model, but is supplied with a different connector – the TA4F connector, which allows you to connect your D5400 LB/WL6 microphone to a variety of adapters for Shure wireless systems.

Please note that some dynamic non-linearities will occur when using wireless systems in comparison to a wired solution.

The REMIC D5400 LB/WL6 microphone model is based on the same principle as the normal REMIC D5400 LB Live model, only with a different connector and adapted for lower voltage.

The REMIC D5400 LB/WL6 Live model is designed for extremely loud live productions and delivers a natural, but more “dry” and “woodish” sound response in comparison to the “Studio” model.

The “LB” model represents the highest suppression of ambient sound sources ever achieved by a condenser microphone.

So if you need a microphone with low acoustic feedback response, the REMIC D5400 LB/WL6 for wireless systems is the answer.

At the same time, the microphone will maintain the aesthetic appearance of the instrument towards your audience, since there is no clamps and clips in order to mount and hold the microphone.

With Built-In Windshield

The built-in windshield is designed  to drastically reduce wind noise in open air performances. The windshield is placed inside the microphone and is therefore invisible and non-removable. With the built-in windshield option, you do not need to add any other windshields to your microphone. The built-in windshield will not change the quality of the microphone in other performance contexts.
