REMIC LB Live microphones

The REMIC Live Band (LB) technology achieves the highest suppression of ambient sound-sources in a condenser microphone. The high suppression is achieved by the omni-spherical suppression superior to classic cardioid microphones. The suppression is not based on directivity but on distance factor.

The Live Band technology is meant for use at loud performances to suppress high bleed so you as artist can hear your own instrument in the IEM’s or wedges.

It’s a pure acoustic real-time design without amps that isolates the instrument within a one meter sphere. Sound engineers and artists choose this mic when nothing else works to suppress bleed. Similarly it can also be used for studio work where the room influence is to be removed.

With the LB version some sound processing can be necessary to add reverberation, the advantage being that you dont add reverb to the bleed.
