FOR THE DRUMS
REMIC MICROPHONES launches Prototype of microphone Sets for Drums.
The DK-7 prototype-kit consists of 7 pcs. of high-definition condenser microphones for drum kits.
1 x BD1100 for the bass drum
4 x DR1000 for snare and tomtoms
2 x HC2000 underhead mics for cymbals
Each mic comes with a 4mm thick cotton woven MOGAMI cable, in a length of 4 meter and the special designed natural rubberform, ensures fast, flexible and reliable mounting.
The mics can easily be mounted on the rim of the drums and on the stand for cymbals, which means that you can get rid of all loose clamps and mic stands that often comes impractical and takes up a lot of space around a drum kit.
Mounting the DK-7 microphones on a drum kit
The polar pattern of each mic in the DK-7 kit is omnidirectional, and can easily be used at any studio-, broadcast- or live-production.
If more mics are needed in order to cover a larger drum set up, the microphones can be bought individually. Contact your dealer and get a special offer.
The DK-7 prototype kit, comes in a light polypropylene case from SEAHORSE, that is shock proof, dent proof, crack proof and chip proof.
FOR BRASS & WOODWIND INSTRUMENTS
For brass & woodwind instruments, REMIC MICROPHONES offers the Prototype W3000, designed for saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba and other related horn instruments such as Flugelhorn, Cornet, French horn, Tenor horn, Baritone horn and Euphonium.
This microphone has also been designed around a high-definition condenser cartridge and mounted in a natural rubber housing.
Mounting the W3000 microphone on a saxophone
For the final production, the W3000 mic will be equipped with a 5 pole miniature XLR connector for connection to some pre-selected microport systems via a series of adaptors connector kits.
In every case, REMIC MICROPHONES offers a crystal clear sound.
All new models will be up for sale, within the first quarter of 2015, but you can make a pre-order as soon as the products are launched on our webshop and in any of our associated stores.
